Welcome to therestorewarehouse.com (the “Site”), operated by The Re-Store Warehouse, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (“we,” “us,” “our,” or “Re-Store Warehouse”). By accessing or using this Site, submitting a form, scheduling a donation pickup, or requesting a kitchen design consultation, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use this Site.


1. About Us

The Re-Store Warehouse is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Fayetteville, North Carolina, founded in 1999 as a joint venture of Fayetteville Urban Ministry and Fayetteville Area Habitat for Humanity, with funding provided by the Cumberland Community Foundation. We accept donated furniture, cabinets, appliances, and household goods, and sell them to fund local charitable programs serving Cumberland County.

2. Use of This Site

You agree to use this Site only for lawful purposes. When using our Site, including our forms for donations, pickup scheduling, kitchen design consultations, or general inquiries, you agree that you will not:

  • Upload photos or content that you do not have the right to share, or that is offensive, unlawful, or infringes on the rights of others
  • Attempt to interfere with the security or proper functioning of the Site
  • Use the Site to transmit spam, malware, or unauthorized advertising

3. Donations

3.1 Donation Submissions

When you submit a donation request or schedule a pickup, you represent that you are the rightful owner of the items being donated and that you have the authority to donate them.

3.2 Item Eligibility

Not all items qualify for donation. We reserve the right to review submitted photos and descriptions, and to accept or decline any donation, at our sole discretion, in accordance with our published Donation Guidelines.

3.3 Free Pickup

Free pickup service is offered for qualifying donations at our discretion and is subject to scheduling availability, item condition, and other factors. We reserve the right to decline pickup of items that do not meet our guidelines.

3.4 No Compensation

Donations made to The Re-Store Warehouse are charitable contributions. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, donors do not receive payment or compensation for donated items, though a donation receipt may be provided for tax purposes upon request. Consult a tax professional regarding the deductibility of your donation.


4. Kitchen Design Consultations

Our kitchen design program offers new cabinetry donated by local cabinet makers. Requesting a design consultation through our Site does not obligate you to purchase, and does not guarantee product availability, pricing, or design outcomes. Final pricing, availability, and design details will be discussed directly with our team during consultation. No large-scale design services, warranties, or guarantees beyond what is explicitly agreed upon in writing are implied.


5. Shopping Our Inventory

Inventory shown on our Site, blog, or linked third-party listing platforms (such as OfferUp) changes daily and is not guaranteed to be available at the time of your visit or inquiry. All sales at our physical location are final unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase. We make no warranties regarding the condition, safety, or fitness for a particular purpose of secondhand or donated items sold, beyond what is required by applicable law.


6. User-Submitted Content

By submitting photos, messages, or other content through our forms, you grant The Re-Store Warehouse a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and store that content solely for the purpose of evaluating your donation, request, or inquiry, and for our internal recordkeeping. We will not publicly publish your submitted content without your separate consent.


7. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site — including text, graphics, logos, images, videos, and the overall design — is the property of The Re-Store Warehouse or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or use any content from this Site for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
